CIRTY

In October 2023, "Forestgate Daikanyama" was established in front of Daikanyama Station, one stop away from Shibuya Station. This new complex consists of two buildings: the "MAIN" building, which includes rental housing, shared offices, and commercial facilities, and "CIRTY," which provides sustainable living experiences.

CIRTY is a platform focused on circularity, serving as both a physical space for people, products, and ideas to gather, and an information-sharing media outlet. Our goal is to cultivate a circular community through everyday experiences in our daily lives.

The building is a sustainable two-story wooden structure constructed using thinned timber. It features the "CIRTY CAFE," a circular café that utilizes produce grown from compost made from food waste, along with ingredients that are often discarded, such as food loss products and irregular vegetables.

Additionally, we host workshops and talk events related to sustainability and the environment. The café includes a recycling station where anyone, not just residents, can drop off recyclable items like clothing.

We aim to create opportunities for individuals interested in a circular society to come together and foster new business initiatives. By establishing Daikanyama as a hub, we hope to expand a network centered on sustainability.

To achieve these goals, we have developed a comprehensive plan for the building, café, event all of contents and design, focused on urban development.
